About the Role

As a Software Engineer in the Reporting, Statistics, and Automation team, you will play a key role in designing and developing software solutions that enhance data reporting, statistical analysis, and process automation. Your responsibilities will span the full software development lifecycle—from prototyping and writing functional code to testing, deployment, and maintenance.

This role will leverage your expertise in programming languages, databases, and data visualization tools to build scalable and efficient systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across various stages of development, ensuring solutions align with business needs and technical standards.

You will report directly to the RSA Manager, contributing to initiatives that improve reporting accuracy, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize data workflows across the organization.

What You Will Do

  • Support the development and enhancement of automated reporting tools and statistical dashboards used across the organization.

  • Perform data quality checks to ensure that reporting standards and automation procedures are upheld, following established protocols.

  • Collaborate regularly with colleagues in data analytics, operations, and engineering to ensure reporting accuracy and process efficiency, while learning from their expertise.

  • Assist in building scalable automation solutions that streamline data collection, transformation, and visualization.

  • Help establish best practices for reporting workflows and contribute to solving moderately complex technical challenges under established guidelines.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • A foundational understanding of reporting frameworks, data pipelines, and automation tools with a willingness to learn and grow.

  • 1-3 years of experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization platforms (e.g., preferred Qlik, Power BI).

  • Basic knowledge of software development principles, including version control, testing, and deployment.

  • Ability to contribute to the development and maintenance of automated reporting systems and work with relational databases.

  • Curious to collaborate with a wide range of functions (e.g., Engineering, Project Management) and dive into various topics (e.g., detailed reports for day-to-day activities, high-level management reports)

  • Problem-solving skills, creativity, and a hands-on mentality, paired with endurance.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Certifications in data engineering and automation.

  • Experience collaborating with international teams or across multiple business units.

  • Hands-on experience with reporting lifecycle management systems or ETL tools.

What Makes You Eligible

  • You are fluent in English and capable of communicating complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.

  • You are based in or near Bucharest and can work in a hybrid or remote setup.

  • You are open to occasional travel for strategic workshops, stakeholder meetings, or cross-functional collaboration.

  • You are flexible with working hours to support global reporting cycles and high-priority initiatives.
