Distribution Clerk is a team player that provides support to the Agropur Delta operations team.  The Distribution Clerk reports to the Distribution management, collaborates with all departments, internally and externally to meet operational goals. Distribution Clerk is an organized self-starter with acute attention to details, and excellent communication and problem solving skills.

What’s involved in this role

  • Auditing, filing of documentation and maintaining records

  • Booking delivery appointments with customers, coordinating delivery date changes, communicating with cross-functional teams and preparing required shipping documents

  • Receiving and inventory control of supplies to ensure invoices are ready for payment in SAP/Oracle

  • Obtain information to respond to requests by reviewing files, documents, and records

  • Preparing documents, visual communication tools and labels using various printers and copiers

  • Prepare meeting agendas, taking notes and complete minutes, for both confidential and routine correspondence

  • Preparing labels and packaging for courier shipments

  • Vacation and sick coverage for team members in Distribution department

  • Arrange regular maintenance of Delta facility

  • Monitor Health & safety program and lead annual Health & safety audit preparation

  • Monitor Quality program and lead annual GDP (Good Distribution Practices) audit preparation

  • Capex program administrative support

  • Manage the Employee Canteen and maintain cafeteria supplies, and reconciliation of funds associated with the canteen

  • Maintain organization of shared spaces

What you need to join our team

  • Business Administration Experience 1-3 years in an office environment

  • Post-secondary Office Administration diploma or the combination of certificates and experience in office administration will be considered.

  • Proficient in the use of MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is an asset

  • French language is an asset
