Creating clarity and connection for the Technology Strategy stakeholders to enable the organisation’s purpose and ambition. The Technology Strategy Enablement team do this through numerous mechanisms to create direction, alignment, engagement and communication, to enable the adoption of the Technology Strategy.

We have a great opportunity for an Executive Manager to drive the enablement of our technology strategy across the Bank.

Joining our Technology function and reporting to a General Manager, you will be engaging with multiple teams across the Bank. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders, on a breadth of topics that are evolving quickly, and that will make a difference for our customers, colleagues and broader stakeholders.

 

Do work that matters 

  • Enable outcomes by creating the direction and alignment of senior stakeholders on what needs to be done across the portfolio to deliver on our strategic ambition, backed by thorough analysis and articulation of requirements

  • Work with a breadth of stakeholders to create high-impact engagement sessions with stakeholders and SMEs, to drive connection, understanding and strategy execution

  • Build relationships with stakeholders across the Bank and have frequent engagement to understand and frame the challenges and opportunities to support the strategy execution

  • Lead colleagues so that engaging content is created to share the progress and updates on our Technology strategy, including the benefits for our customers and stakeholders

  • Work with teams across the Bank on practices to optimise engagement and change, and sharing of practices to continuously improve what we do

What does success look like? 

  • Strong experience working with senior stakeholders on the enablement of strategy and program outcomes (strategy execution).

  • Ability to frame, assess and co-solve problems and opportunities, and mobilise action

  • Senior stakeholder engagement experience, including multiple groups of stakeholders across large organisations, with the ability to influence.

  • Clear demonstration of leading teams and leading outcomes across virtual teams.

  • Strong experience with agile, change, communication and engagement practices.

  • Ability to take the theory and put it into practice.

  • Understanding of technology and banking and how it relates to customer outcomes.
