About this role:
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in General Surgery and Trauma Surgery, you will work with four other APPs and seven surgeons committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will see patients in clinic, take call, serve as first assist in the OR on a variety of cases, and round on post-operative patients in the hospital.
This position includes a $7500 sign-on bonus, and $10,000 in relocation assistance, when applicable
You will practice at Good Samaritan in Lafayette, Colorado
You’ll work about 17 shifts per month as a full time APP
You will be on call 1 in 5, (3-4 weekdays per month and 1 weekend (Fri-Sun) every 4-5 weeks)
Work alongside four other APPs and seven surgeons at a busy Level II trauma center

What you’ll bring:
APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
At least 2 years of experience as a surgical first assist with inpatient and clinic exposure is required
NO NEW GRADS will be accepted
Experience with DaVinci Surgical System is preferred
Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
