As Global Head of Portfolio & Forecasting Spares & Accessories (S&A), you’ll set the vision and build the global strategy for Dyson’s S&A with the product category and supporting functions. You’ll ensure best in class portfolio management—with focus on having latest ranges up to date at all times, identifying gaps and lifecycle planning. At the same time, you’ll build and run the global S&A forecasting process, ensuring our supply and commercial plans meet owner demand and support strong, profitable growth.
You’ll work with leaders across Product, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Market teams, translating strategy into robust action. In a company that thrives on agility and precision, your work will keep Dyson ahead of supply challenges, inventory risks, and shifting owner needs.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Strategy & Management:
Manage the S&A category portfolio globally. Shape the portfolio’s architecture, set priorities, and drive portfolio lifecycle decisions (taking into account also legislations)—from launches and enhancements to rationalizations. Ensure S&A are up to date on our sales channels to enable sales maximization.
Innovation & Range Expansion:
Identify gaps and opportunities for new S&A products, informed by market insight, owner feedback, and business trends. Lead cross-functional teams to define and deliver the S&A innovation roadmap.
Forecasting Leadership:
Build and deploy the global S&A forecasting process. Set best-in-class standards for segmentation, data inputs, and scenario analysis, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness to change. This includes also legislative requirements. Work collaboratively with Supply Chain translating the forecast into demand.
Cross-Functional Alignment:
Partner with Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance to sync portfolio and forecast plans—balancing supply assurance with inventory optimisation and market targets.
Insight & Analysis:
Deep dive into consumer data and industry trends. Translate insight into actionable recommendations, and champion market needs in all global discussions.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process enhancements to strengthen forecast accuracy, portfolio health, and stakeholder collaboration.
Performance Monitoring:
Define clear metrics for portfolio vitality and forecast performance. Set up tracking, lead regular reviews, and use learning loops to drive continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Leadership:
Build strong relationships across regional and market teams. Enable them to deliver on S&A strategy, providing clear guidelines and expert support.
Proven experience managing international portfolios (ideally in spares, consumables, or accessories) and leading complex forecasting functions at scale.
Strong analytical mindset: Confident at interpreting large data sets, industry trends, and market feedback to drive business decisions.
Strategic horizon: Able to balance long-term vision with in-the-moment agility and pragmatic action.
Collaborative leader: Adept at aligning cross-functional teams and communicating complex plans in accessible terms.
Results-driven: Skilled at tracking KPIs, holding teams to a high standard, and relentlessly pursuing improvement.
