Job Description

The opportunity

We are seeking a bilingual experienced and motivated Account Manager to oversee the group travel insurance portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, account management and the group insurance industry, with a focus on travel insurance products.

This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to build and maintain client relationships, and a deep understanding of the group insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with group-travel insurance clients, including TPA's, Group Insurance Consulting Firms, Group Insurance Brokers and large Associations/Affinity Groups.
  • Identify new business opportunities and work to expand the group-travel insurance portfolio.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clients' needs are being met and to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to develop sales strategies and meet revenue targets.
  • Provide training and support to clients on group-travel insurance products and services.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related experience
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or group insurance, with a focus on travel insurance an asset.
  • Fluency in both French and English will be a strong asset
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of various group insurance products and arrangements and industry trends.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Primary Location

CAN, Ontario - Full Time Remote

Salary range is expected to be between

$78,975.00 CAD - $142,155.00 CAD
