About the Role: 

The Regional Managing Director will be responsible for building a winning strategy to generate and win new customer revenue at the State and Local level for PayIt. 

The selected Sales Professional will be the "quarterback" of their region. You will be building, communicating, and driving support and alignment across resources internal and external to PayIt to execute on business.  

Those selling resources include their Solution Consultant (SC), Channel Partners (Technology and Systems Integrators), Marketing, Advisors and/or Lobbyists, Client Success Managers, Product Managers, and Executives. Each sales professional will have an annual quota target with quarterly goals.  

What You'll Need to Have:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience including but not limited to Quota Attainment, Territory Planning, Prospecting and Pipeline Building, Opportunity Execution, Competing, Negotiating and Closing, Strategic Account Planning with Client Success Managers, Networking and Marketing, Continued Learning and Development, and usage of the various technology tools required to perform job responsibilities. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets within assigned territories.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, IT leaders, and procurement officers within state and local agencies.
  • Solution Selling: Understand client needs and challenges, and deliver compelling SaaS solutions that align with their objectives, focusing on the value our platform provides to public sector clients.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage a robust sales pipeline from lead generation to close, ensuring timely and accurate forecasting, and reporting on sales activity and progress.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to ensure seamless client onboarding and long-term satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Navigate the complexities of government procurement processes, including RFPs, RFIs, and contract negotiations, while adhering to regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, legislative changes, and competitive landscape to position our solutions effectively.
Annual Salary Range:
$130,000$150,000 USD
