Job Description​

This position follows credentialing procedures to ensure all Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals are adequately and accurately credentialed.

Shift: Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates Medical Staff meetings, takes minutes, and attends to other needs of the Medical Staff as appropriate.

• The Medical Staff Services Professional plans, develops, organizes and controls the operation of the medical staff office to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of the hospital and to meet the requirements of the medical staff bylaws, Joint Commission standards, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulatory and or accrediting agencies.

This position will be located at Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City

Medical staff credentialing experience preferred.

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience:

2 years

CPCS or CPMSM certification - National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS)

Associate Degree
