POSITION SUMMARY

  • Accountable for the delivery of the full P&L for Primary Care (Internal Medicine + Vaccines portfolios) in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay Region (product categories scope can be changed due to ongoing organizational design analysis)
  • Leads and coaches the IM & Vaccines Marketing teams to define & implement business strategies/tactics to achieve revenue targets, under current CMO model.
  • Ensures that all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and SOPs, Pfizer values, and global guidelines (including MAPP, FCPA), as appropriate.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sets a Bold Vision and Winning Category Strategy
  • Sets strategic long-term vision for Pfizer in the category; obtain stakeholder and leadership buy-in and colleague engagement
  • Develops strategies unique to the needs of the category to maximize the patient impact and the revenue for Pfizer
  • Manages a Profitable and Sustainable Category
  • Optimizes the profitability of the category by making active trade-off and resource allocation decisions
  • Drives execution of campaigns, PoAs, tactics and customer plans
  • Leads Others to Drive Performance and Inspire Colleagues
  • Leads and coaches a high performing team and develop colleagues in line with the Pfizer competency models
  • Role models Pfizer values, culture elements with visible and inspirational leadership focused on compliance and integrity
  • Engages External Stakeholders to Drive Access and Category Performance, with special focus on Key Decision Makers for National Immunization Programs in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.
  • Engages Internal Stakeholders and Resources to Drive Operational Excellence
  • Collaboration and partnership with strategic partners from Medical, GAV, Public Affairs, Supply, Legal, Compliance, Commercial, Customer Facing Team and other in Pfizer to ensure services for the category are met
  • Ensures high standards of compliance to norms, policies, and procedures and instills a proactive compliance risk management culture throughout his/her direct team and the x-functional organization
  • A key member of the country leadership team contributing to the overall success of Pfizer in the country
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with government entities and navigating the complex regulatory landscape within the region

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

  • Reports to the Country Manager
  • Leads the Marketing Team for both categories
  • Works in close collaboration with local & Emerging Markets Marketing, Medical Affairs, Commercial Team, H&V, StratCO, EMCO, BAI, PGS and Finance

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • 10 years of diverse leadership and commercial experience within Pharma
  • Experience leading high performing teams by winning in the right way
  • Deep understanding of the vaccine public health system and key decision makers in the Region
  • P&L management preferred and financial acumen
