  • Deciding with the rest of the team the best technical solution for the challenges ahead, ensuring best practices are applied to maximise quality of delivery

  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand customer needs and deliver them with a lofty quality standard into production

What you will bring.

  • Excellent knowledge of Java, Restful API, Agile Methodologies

  • Demonstrable experience in Test-Driven Development and Behavioural Driven Development practices integrated within the lifecycle of the software development

  • Demonstrable experience in application Development in both Frontend and Backend technologies using the latest versions of Angular (with typescript), spring boot (with Java) and node among other web technologies

It would also be nice for you to have. 

  • Certifications – Agile, AWS Developer Associate Qualification or equivalent

  • Understands Domain Driven Design

  • Experience working under Collections and Recoveries domain

  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence) & how to leverage their reporting capabilities

What else you need to know. 

This role is based in Milton Keynes. This is a 24-month Fixed Term Contract role.

We want our people to thrive at work and home, and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

If both sides agree we will send your CV to the hiring manager to review. For this position, the interview process will be:

1st Stage – Technical Interview – this will be a 60 min technical interview with one of the team

2nd Stage – A one-hour formal interview where we will ask both technical and competency-based questions. This can be done virtually or face to face depending on your situation
