About the Job:
We are looking to welcome a new Global Application Support Scientist for mass spectrometry to join our team in Turku. The Global Application Support Team consists of top professionals providing high-level technical and scientific support to our customers globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Responding to customer or field personnel enquiries regarding the reproductive health mass spectrometry products and related applications or their use, including troubleshooting, data analysis and technical guidance
Product and application training of customers, field application scientists, sales, distributors and service personnel
Site visits for higher level troubleshooting and training
Participating in new product development projects by bringing the voice of customer in the projects and by conducting evaluations of new products
Supporting the launch of new product introductions
Maintaining training laboratories and instrumentation
Participating in expert roles and collaborating with other internal functions, such as quality, R&D, business and manufacturing
Taking part in annual post marketing surveillance of mass spectrometry products
Qualifications:
Master’s or PhD degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry or Biology
Experience in a similar role
3-5 years of hands-on experience with mass spectrometry systems (triple quadruple)
A strong understanding of LC-MSMS workflows, experience with clinical applications of mass spectrometry
Experience in customer relationships
Customer focused problem solver mindset, strong project and time management skills
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills in English, other language skills are considered as an advantage
Willingness to travel globally up to 30-40 %
