For Linklaters Service Delivery Centre Warsaw, we are currently recruiting for the Marketing Content Coordinator role.

About Linklaters

Linklaters are a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.

We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.

Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.

We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias, because we want everyone to feel that they belong. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common mind-set.

We recognise that one size does not fit all. Our goal is to embed flexibility across our firm by giving everyone the opportunity to work in an agile way, whether as a regular pattern or on an ad hoc basis, and we will be happy to discuss this further.

Purpose

The Marketing Content team supports the global Business Development and Marketing team (BDM) in maintaining all pitch related content and key technology programmes/platforms.

We are seeking a Marketing Content Coordinator to join our dynamic, international team. The individual will work as part of a team to support the maintenance and development of our central pitch tool and the content stored on it; this will involve collaboration with our global BDM team.

The Marketing Content Coordinator will be instrumental in ensuring the ongoing success of our central pitch tool – understanding our global pitch content and recognising what quality content looks like. The individual will need to manage client expectations and deliver the highest level of attention to detail and quality.

What we are looking for

  • Strong organisational skills – you will be responsible for managing your own tasks and workload, balancing what is required of you across both teams.
  • Attention to detail – you must have an excellent focus on quality and attention to detail across all aspects of the role.
  • Multitasking ability – being able to cope with a long to-do list and knowing how to prioritise this (and when to ask for help with this) will be key to making the role a success.
  • Communication skills - you will need to reach out to different teams globally to gather or check information, so the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with colleagues is vital.
  • Technical skills – you will need to be comfortable working with a number of different software packages.

Expectations of the role

  • Responding to requests in the Marketing Content Team (MCT) inbox such as requests to update a headshot photograph in the PitchPerfect system and approving edits to lawyer CVs.
  • Managing regular weekly tasks such as sending follow-up emails to our automated processes and tracking the progress of these, updating relevant BD teams as necessary. Also carrying out a weekly pitch tracker audit and reaching out to BD or secretaries as required to make changes to the records.
  • Maintain key firm information used in pitches e.g. certificates, policies, financial information and ensuring as much as possible is stored in our central pitch tool (PitchPerfect).
  • Adding content to PitchPerfect as received by MCT on an ad hoc basis e.g. awards, quotes, infographics.
  • Occasionally, investigating and testing the tool in case of any technical issues.
  • Acting as a point of contact with BDM stakeholders for the MCT – regular communication with this global team is important to keep abreast of client needs.
  • Becoming a global content champion, sharing and enabling best practice relating to our pitch tool and the marketing content on it.

Experience required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is essential. Law degree or equivalent would be beneficial.
  • Be fully proficient in the Microsoft Office package (PowerPoint and Word are especially important). Experience using the Adobe Creative suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop), Excel and Outlook will be an advantage.
  • Marketing experience - understanding of marketing and brand. Previous experience of working in teams within a document production and/or proof-reading/copy-editing environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English (mandatory, ideally native English).

The Team

You will be welcomed into a globally diverse and friendly team split across Colchester and Warsaw, and working more widely with colleagues in all of our 30 global offices.

The MCT is a small team with a global remit – responsible for maintaining the content stored within our firmwide pitching tool as well as the tool itself, liaising with our Technology teams and external vendor on a regular basis. We work directly with our global BDM colleagues as well as secretaries and occasionally lawyers, plus other Business Teams.

The team is part of the BDM function, supporting our function and more broadly, to ensure the quality and impact of our client facing pitch documents.

You will work with colleagues from across our global network of offices, in a range of different roles and seniority levels.
