About This Opportunity 

The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-quality client focused administrative services to support the University’s academic activities in a busy centralised service area.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support and advice to stakeholders, including students, staff, and the public, via various communication channels.

  • Manage and process a wide range of academic service requests, including admissions, enrolments, scholarships, and academic progressions, ensuring compliance with University regulations.

  • Contribute to maintaining the accuracy of University databases, websites, and publications through review processes.

  • Offer recommendations to decision-makers on student and academic matters, adhering to University policies and relevant legislation.

  • Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures and training programs to enhance academic service administration.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, facilitate events, and support reporting, surveillance, and quality assurance processes as required for effective Division operations.

About You  

  • Possess a Bachelor degree, Advanced Diploma, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

  • Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, digital literacy (particularly Microsoft 365), and interpersonal skills.

  • Display a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.

  • Showcase analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving capabilities, alongside adaptability to change and a proactive approach to tasks.

  • Knowledge or experience in student administration within higher education or similar settings is desirable, along with familiarity with university rules, policies, and enterprise systems.

You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
