Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our logistics team. This is an hourly position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the transportation of goods to retail locations, ensuring timely deliveries, optimizing routes, and maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders. This role is crucial in supporting our retail operations and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Coordination: Schedule and oversee the transportation of products from warehouses to retail locations, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to schedules. Planning/Routing nightly/Transship Coordinator.
  • Dispatch: centralized communication of all drivers/route changes. Monitoring Manifest Slack group messages – adding and removing orders.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure proper stock levels are maintained at retail locations, facilitating replenishment as needed.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve transportation-related issues, including delays, damage claims, and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and warehousing, to ensure smooth operations and alignment on goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Shift hours are Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm
  • 2+ years of experience in transportation coordination or logistics, preferably within a retail environment.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
