The Product & Partner Development Director serves as the subject matter expert for merchant services and gateway products, driving product understanding across Business Units, Sales, and partners. This role is responsible for communicating the product roadmap, supporting partner and client discussions, and ensuring product updates and capabilities are clearly understood across the organization. The position also provides market and client insight to inform product strategy and development.
  • Serve as the primary product expert for merchant services, gateway, and related solutions.
    Support Sales, Business Units, and leadership by clearly explaining product capabilities, use cases, and positioning to drive alignment and adoption.
  • Own communication and socialization of the product roadmap across all Sales channels and Business Units. Ensure stakeholders understand priorities, upcoming enhancements, and how roadmap investments align to business and client needs
  • Support product discussions with partners and prospects, including banks, ISVs, and strategic clients. Deliver product overviews and articulate how solutions meet client needs within the broader merchant services ecosystem
  • Own creation and distribution of release notes and product updates for gateway and merchant services products. Ensure updates are clearly documented and communicated to internal stakeholders in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Gather input from Sales, Business Units, and partners on product gaps, client needs, and market trends. Participate in product discovery and design discussions, providing input to help inform product requirements and roadmap priorities
  • Monitor and report on product adoption, usage trends, and release uptake across merchant services solutions. Gather feedback from Sales, Business Units, and partners to identify adoption gaps and provide actionable insights to Product teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or 4 years of experience in a related field
  • 3 years of experience in payment services, merchant services or gateway-based products
  • Experience communicating product capabilities, updates and processes across internal stakeholders.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in merchant services, payment platforms, or fintech product environments
  • Strong ability to explain complex product capabilities and use cases to Sales, Business Units, and partners
  • Experience supporting partner or client-facing product discussions (e.g., banks, ISVs, or strategic clients)
  • Ability to analyze product adoption and usage trends and translate insights into actionable feedback
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
  • Ability to document product information, processes, and release updates clearly and effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
