Job Title: Practice Manager 

Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum, depending on experience.  

Location: Glasgow and surrounding areas. 

Job Type: Full-time, permanent 

Hours: 40hrs

Your role and responsibilities

The Practice Manager will work as part of the senior leadership team to ensure we provide exceptional client care and support our associates.  Within this role you will be involved in all aspects of managing our six-site veterinary practices including the purpose built Roundhouse Hospital.  

The successful candidate will support the business in the following areas;  

·       Financial; This will include effective management of practice debt, oversee processing of insurance forms, banking and working with the clinical director to deliver the practices sales budget. 

·       Health and safety; working with the health and safety business partner to ensure correct protocols are followed and up to date documentation is maintained across all sites.  

·      Operational management; ensure effective day to day running of the practice, reacting to problems as they happen and ensure a smooth workflow. Ensure development of protocols and deliver on implementing new initiatives and technologies. 

·      Building maintenance; ensure that any maintenance problems are reported, and a plan made to ensure issues are rectified. 
·      Client Experience: Maintain a welcoming, professional, and compassionate atmosphere for clients and their pets, ensuring that all client interactions are positive and that any complaints or concerns are dealt with promptly and professionally.  

Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, will enjoy problem solving and will provide effective and positive team management. Previous experience in the veterinary industry would be advantageous but not essential. You will have experience in team management and show strong leadership skills as well as an interest in developing and progressing the client journey.
