Summary:
As a Test Automation Lead, with over 8 years of specialized experience in automating functional and regression testing for enterprise packaged applications. In this role, you will design, implement, and execute robust automation frameworks to ensure the seamless performance of critical business systems. You will leverage traditional automation tools alongside cutting-edge AI-assisted testing methodologies to optimize our test cycles from inception to final defect closure.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Framework Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks specifically tailored for packaged applications.
End-to-End Testing: Own the complete testing lifecycle, including test planning, script creation, execution, log analysis, and rigorous defect tracking through to closure.
AI & Innovation: Integrate AI-assisted testing tools and techniques to accelerate script generation, self-healing tests, and predictive defect analysis.
Collaboration: Partner closely with functional consultants, developers, and business analysts to understand complex business processes and translate them into automated test scenarios.
Reporting & Quality Assurance: Deliver clear, data-driven quality metrics and test execution reports to leadership, highlighting risks and deployment readiness.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Packaged Application Expertise: Proven track record in automating core business processes within at least one major packaged application ecosystem: (Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP/HCM/SCM - Strongly Preferred) and SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), or Workday.
Automation Tooling: Hands-on proficiency in creating scripts from scratch using: Selenium (Java, Python, or C#) , Tricentis TOSCA (AS1/AS2 certification is a plus) Or equivalent enterprise-grade automation platforms.
AI-Assisted Testing: Practical experience utilizing AI/ML features within testing tools for smart test generation, visual testing, or automated maintenance.
Lifecycle Management: Deep understanding of software testing lifecycles (STLC) and hands-on experience with ALM tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Micro Focus ALM for defect management.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex technical testing metrics to non-technical business stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with a sharp focus on root-cause analysis for complex integration defects.
Ability to mentor junior QA engineers and drive automation best practices across the team.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Test Automation Strategy.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
