About the Role:

The Israel-based Security Specialist will join CrowdStrike in our mission of Security First and keeping CrowdStrikers safe. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager of Global Security as part of a global team that is responsible for all aspects of physical security across the enterprise. As the sole Israel-based team member in Global Security, you will assume primary responsibility for access management at our Tel Aviv offices, enforce physical security policy, and respond to, investigate, and remediate any access violations or broader security incidents. You will support the Global Security team with local and regional intelligence assessments and executive protection and event security support. 

What You'll Do:

  • Facilitate CrowdStrike’s facility security and access control program across CrowdStrike’s Israel estate in coordination with the Global Security System Administrator 

  • Administer all aspects of personnel security including processing access control requests, and supporting employee security briefings

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Israel-based security community

  • Main POC for any regional crisis events, responsible for employee accountability and safety. 

  • Delivering security briefs as required.

  • Identify and inform management of issues, risks, and improvement opportunities through the process of weekly and monthly audits

  • Support Global Security team with executive protection planning and engagements in Israel, intelligence resources, and travel security decision making

  • Develop documentation such as policies, procedures, and standards

  • Review and update current access control methods, standards, and procedures to ensure the access database is accurate at all times 

  • Ensure inoperable security systems are properly documented, service requests are generated immediately, and compensatory measures are in place through issue resolution 

  • Support the problem resolution process for incidents within the department, ensuring all relevant information is captured and be responsible for escalation to higher level resolver groups including the solution provider

  • Prepare logs and/or reports in accordance with departmental requirements and ad hoc management requests 

  • Review and update current communication methods and provide proactive solutions to ensure communication is open, honest and responsive in all situations, to the extent authorized

  • Secure a cultural understanding of security among all CrowdStrike personnel 

  • Create and process new employee/contractor facility access accounts and control cards

  • Promptly remove facility access control for terminated or departing employees

  • All other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:

  • Five+ years’ experience in global security operations, security management, and personnel/facility security

  • Ability to work nights and weekends during a crisis event 

  • Experience in defining, implementing, and ensuring risk-based standards, processes and procedures

  • Prior experience with Physical Protection Systems (PPS) including Visual Surveillance Systems (VSS), Access Control Systems (ACS) and Intruder Detection Systems (IDS), plus other monitoring systems, networking, and IT

  • Strong computer and systems knowledge

  • Strong problem-solving skills 

  • Must be willing to travel occasionally

  • Must have weapons license

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior military or law enforcement experience

  • Security Risk Management Qualification for example degree, CPP, PSP or CSMP.

  • Excellent technical, interpersonal, and analytic skills with the ability to communicate physical security concepts to technical as well as non-technical audiences

  • Experience with user provisioning and access management processes

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • Experience in supporting training development and logistics 

  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build relationships with internal team members across all levels of the organization, as well as with external vendor organizations

  • Proven ability to work independently with efficiency and flexibility

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Experience with implementing security measures associated to PPS

  • First Aid and CPR certified
