The HSSE Data Analyst will have a strong background in IT and data analytics, with the ability to optimize data collection, analysis, and reporting processes. You will drive consistency in HSSE data and reporting, perform data extraction and mining to identify trends, and support HSSE line management with customized reports for business decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk. 
• Develop and communicate reports and business intelligence (i.e. dashboards) to drive clarity and understanding of HSSE-related data.
• Gather, process, and carry out statistical analyses on large datasets.
• Extract useful information and insights from raw data.
• Monitor and report on HSSE performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with IT Digital Transformation team to integrate usable AI applications into the business.
• Serve as the functional matter expert on Sphera reporting system and other relevant platforms utilized by HSSE
• Act as HSSE interface with Digital Transformation team(s) on the advancement of AI.

Job Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
• Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, HSSE, or Risk Management.
• Preferred to have 5 years of experience in an HSSE Data Analyst or comparable role.
• Have previous experience with some combination of standard business software applications; such as, Power BI, Microsoft O365, or Sphera Event reporting system.
• Preferred to have Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate, CompTIA Data+.
• Have a history of initiative and self-drive to accomplish tasks by leaning on
  ability to research past experiences and apply appropriate mitigation.
