JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position:             Supervisor

Division:              Established Pharmaceutical Division - Operation

Location:             Karachi - Korangi Plant

Job Summary:

Provide support to Manager Production and work with the team of Liquid Finishing and Finished goods Quarantine area to ensure planning, organizing, executing, training, and monitoring of all activities with compliance of EQDs’ and AQs’ Policies / Procedures, Local Regulatory, cGMP requirements, EHS policies and security standing orders / code of business conduct.   

Major Responsibilities:

• To perform related Manufacturing, Finishing and dispensing operations as per relevant policies, SOPs, shop orders, and directions with proper documentation
• Accountable to meet scheduled operation due dates, daily run rates, Continuous improvement plans, etc. in a timely manner
• To expose priority and stimulate the reduction or elimination of non-value-added activities and to reduce scrap, rework, and shrinkage, and increase yields
• To assist by providing information needed for measurement of KPI’s of supply side
• To assist in root cause analysis against KPI’s results for continuous improvement of process
• Daily standardization of weighing balances
• Data of OEE   blister machines to be incorporated in system
• Ensuring that products are packed under controlled environment, meeting all EQDs’ and AQs’ policies, EHS and Housekeeping Standards. Assure compliance with local and Abbott rules
• To comply with security standing orders / code of Business conduct
• Maintain Skill matrix/TNA/Master training of area staff
• Incorporate OEE data of bottle pack in system
• Update DMS boards
• Maintain positive employee relations atmosphere

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

• Science Graduate/Master; preferably Pharm D
• Fresh or 1-2 years’ experience in the same capacity 
• Proficient in MS Office
• Teamwork and problem-solving skills
