Summary:
As a Salesforce AI Engineer, you will own the technical architecture for multiple workstreams or mid-sized Salesforce projects. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions. The role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership, architecture ownership, and adoption of Generative AI and emerging technologies within the Salesforce ecosystem.
You will be responsible for driving innovation, mentoring team members, and ensuring that solutions are high-quality, reusable, and aligned with enterprise architectural standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Builds high-performing teams, and institutionalizes AI-accelerated engineering practices.
Own end-to-end technical design and architecture for Salesforce implementations.
Define and govern scalable architecture across multiple workstreams.
Lead development teams and perform technical design reviews and code reviews.
Integrate Generative AI–based solutions into Salesforce business workflows.
Utilize AI engineering tools such as Copado AI, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, AFV, or similar platforms to improve delivery efficiency.
Identify and resolve Salesforce platform limitations, performance issues, and integration challenges.
Collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to cross-team architectural decisions.
Provide reusable technical solutions applicable across programs and projects.
Facilitate architecture workshops and technical design discussions with stakeholders.
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, AI tools, and frameworks.
Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, coding standards, and governance.
Oversee non-functional requirements including security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Mentor and guide technical teams, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must Have Skills
Strong expertise in Salesforce Technical Architecture.
Extensive hands-on experience with:
o Apex
o Triggers
o Lightning Web Components (LWC)
o Salesforce Flows
o Integrations (REST, SOAP, event-driven integrations)
Experience across Salesforce Clouds including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Strong understanding of Salesforce design patterns and architectural best practices.
Hands-on exposure to AI-assisted development and automation tools.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and enterprise architecture principles.
Ability to design scalable, high-performance, and reusable systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Certifications Required
Salesforce System Architect or Application Architect – Mandatory
Salesforce Platform Developer II – Mandatory
Salesforce AI Associate – Mandatory
Salesforce Agentforce Specialist – Desirable
GenAI hands-on project experience – Desirable
Additional Information:
10–12+ years of experience in Salesforce Technical Architecture.
Experience managing multiple technical workstreams.
Exposure to enterprise-scale delivery models.
15 years of full-time education is required.
