Purpose Statement:  A Technical Analyst is responsible for the technical and architecture designs of new or modified software products for ongoing business projects including ERP Systems. Technical Analyst will be involved in framing technical standards, software change impact analysis and conducting technical review for software design, test and development plan to ensure the product meet the aspect of the functionality, performance, resiliency, reusability, comprehensibility, scalability and Plexus cyber-security standards.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate business requirements and provide technical and architecture solutions for new or existing software applications, ensuring adherence to project requirements, best practices, and business objectives.
  • System Design: Research and establish software frameworks and standards. Mentor software developers and conduct test plan reviews for compliance with predefined rules. Created detailed UML diagrams, participate in design reviews, and support deployments
  • Continuous Improvement - Manage and successfully deliver high complexity projects. Apply broad knowledge to identify and resolve core problems with focus on continuous improvement: Personal, the team, and processes. Develop, discuss and adapt high complexity enhancements and changes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that solutions support Plexus and customer policies surrounding key controls and compliance, such as SOX, ITAR, EAR, FDA, and others as appropriate by properly specifying these needs as part of the overall delivery of requirements.
  • Innovation and Research: Stay updated on emerging development technologies, standards and best practices, positioning the organization for future success. Provide expert insights and recommendations on potential technologies and practices, leading discussions and initiatives to implement innovative solutions.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
  • English proficiency required.

Other Qualifications:  

  • ERP experience is required; JD Edwards "JDE" is desirable.
  • Certifications for focus area(s) achieved or expected within role
  • Agile and Lean Six Sigma certifications are desirable.
  • Experience in computing systems is highly desirable.
