We’re looking for a Strategic Performance Plan Lead to help shape Water Recycling plans, to deliver performance across our operational and regulatory commitments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys creating clarity from complexity and wants to influence long-term outcomes for our customers, environment, and region. 
 
In this role, you will lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of strategic performance plans, ensuring clear connections between goals, interventions, and measurable outcomes. You’ll work closely with operational, planning, programme, and insight teams to maximise value, embed outcome-focused thinking, and support strategic, data-driven decision-making. 

 

What you'll be doing 

  • Developing and documenting performance plans including targets, success measures, assumptions, risks, and opportunities 

  • Developing and maintaining Strategic Benefit Maps to understand the drivers of performance and the impact of intervention options 

  • Building and maintaining performance forecast models 

  • Conducting scenario modelling to support senior leadership decision-making 

  • Reviewing business cases to ensure robust success measures and outcome alignment 

  • Facilitating cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement 

  • Championing benefit realisation and performance measurement capabilities across Water Recycling 

 

What does it take to be a Strategic Performance Plan Lead 

  • Strong understanding of performance frameworks, measures, and planning approaches 

  • Experience developing strategic plans and communicating complex information clearly 

  • A collaborative, relationship-focused approach to problem solving 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Logical, analytical mindset with the ability to create clarity from ambiguity 

  • Confidence working across diverse teams to influence strategic thinking
