Over 30 years of operation, MTS introduced electronic trading to European bond markets, and remains a leader today in European government bond cash and repo trading.

To support our ambition of growth in the credit business, we are looking for a proactive BuySide Sales Associate, ideally with some credit experience to join our team.  

This role sits within the BondVision Sales team in MTS. The candidate will be responsible for supporting sales activity for BondVision, the MTS D2C electronic trading platform for rates and credit instruments to the buyside community. The candidate will be expected to support current and new relationships within the UK/European investment community: Hedge funds, Asset managers, Insurers, Pension Funds etc. and be committed to building a strong franchise for the BondVision platform as well as identifying opportunities to cross-sell key products across our markets to existing and potential clients. The candidate must be dynamic, organized, able to take direction well, a confident communicator, with a genuine interest in learning about Fixed Income Sales. Any prior experience in Fixed Income or Sales would be welcome.

Key Accountabilities

Provide comprehensive support to our high-volume sales team by managing client accounts, onboarding new clients, and coordinating cross-functionally with client services, monitoring, and product teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as an ongoing liaison and primary contact for assigned clients after sales deal closure to drive retention
  • Complete administrative tasks involved in client onboarding including paperwork, account creation, and platform configuration
  • Field inbound client inquiries and troubleshoot technical issues with the platform
  • Assist sales team by tracking client renewals, pull reports, maintain CRM, and keep account records updated
  • Collaborate with client services, monitoring, and product teams to quickly resolve client complaints and platform problems
  • Gather client feedback and convey requests to inform development of new platform features and tools
  • Continually look for opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services to accounts

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Dynamic individual with ability to close deals and generate revenue through client activity and cross-selling opportunities
  • Self-motivated, pro-active sales professional
  • Team player, willing to collaborate and work with others to launch new initiatives and/or contribute constructive ideas, feedback on existing products
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of Fixed Income trading platforms
  • A passion for the business, ‘drive to win’ and outperformance mindset
  • Excellent ability to establish, develop, and maintain trust-based relationships with internal/external teams.
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial industry.
