About Team & Product/Project Details:

Stream Transfer Agency is a fully integrated investor record keeping and accounting application for commercial transfer agents and registrars.  It supports stock, registered bond, bearer bond and coupon processing, as well as employee-owned securities.  Stream Transfer Agency offers real-time processing of both inquiries and updates, and it allows one-step reversals for most transactions. It has a centralized Name and Address File which is dynamically linked to other application files and includes cross-referencing inquiry and lookups. Stream Transfer Agency retains a full online transaction history for auditing and statement production.

About the role:

We are looking for a Java Developer with 2–4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will work on building and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.

Required Experience Level – 2+

Work Location – Pune India

Educational Qualification – A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

What you will be doing

• Develop, test, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development and production environments.

What you bring:

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Core Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC, Security).
• Expertise in Hibernate/JPA for ORM.
• Good understanding of RESTful services, JSON/XML, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Maven/Gradle, Git, and build tools.
• Basic knowledge of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
