About the team and the role:
eBay, Inc. seeks Head of Strategic Projects, Collectibles in San Jose, CA
What you will accomplish:
Job Duties: Lead critical cross-organizational collectibles programs ensuring timely execution of key deliverables. Implement key elements of collectibles strategy, collaborating across the initiative and partner teams. Show up as an emerging leader of the initiative, jumping in beyond direct scope to input on key decisions and activities. Ensure the Collectibles business overall is run smoothly by putting in place the right cadences and governance processes in partnership with the Global Verticals Strategy and Operations team. Responsible for excellent partner management to ensure that the right people are brought along the journey and their teams are engaged to build the best solutions possible. Apply data-driven approach, using analytics and customer and market insights to inform customer-centric outcome. Work with senior partners from different functions globally: clarifying roles and responsibilities and cutting through complexity. Demonstrate people centric team leadership: helping support and strengthen team while ensuring delivery in a complex and changing environment. Analyze, design, and deliver software development solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies. Consult with senior management to recommend new software designs and project plans to be implemented. Identify and make recommendations to reduce software project risks. Lead project life cycle from initial kickoff through the software requirements analysis, design and implementation. Design detailed software application designs and develop training materials for team members to follow. Implement enterprise-level software system designs and work with one or more development teams to realize product design and implementation. Review and test newly implemented software upgrades to ensure proper functionality and performance. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members and other teams. Partial telecommuting may be permitted from within a commutable distance.
What you will bring:
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
