Meet our team:

The PayPal CS Infrastructure and Vendor Operations organization is looking for a senior Config/Release Engineer for its Cloud Infrastructure team. The team is in a transformational journey building very mature DevOps capabilities through Infrastructure-as-Code and Platform engineering to manage its massive infrastructure fleet at scale. This is a diverse and geo-distributed team of very talented and passionate engineers grounded on solid engineering principles and operational excellence working on simplifying and solving some of the complex problems in managing an internet scale infrastructure. Your day to day:

• Ability to create simple procedural documents. Good team player, self-starter, goal oriented, open minded, flexible and customer focused.

• Strong technical background, demonstrated experience in the infrastructure and operating systems domain and great team skills are key qualifications and traits to be successful in this role.

• Managing / Understanding UNIX configuration management tools like Ansible / Puppet.

• CI/CD: Setup Pipelines facilitate Continuous Implementation and Continuous Deployment

• Manage and to handle resources (VMs, networks, disks) on the cloud with Azure based on current utilization.
