JOB DESCRIPTION

The purpose of a ROOFTOP BUSSER for Kisbee on the Roof is 3-fold, and includes running rood, bussing tables, and bar backing. An employee in this role ensures that the restaurant remains clean by quickly and efficiently clearing / cleaning tables and organizing furniture; delivering food to guests in a timely manner; washing bar glassware / restocking bar & restaurant supplies; and helps the service team as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*:

  • Clear & sanitize tables & seats; maintain sanitizer solution in designated buckets throughout the shift.
  • Reset tables per restaurant specs & standards.
  • Collect dirty dishes from rooftop bar & pool deck, scrape & stack them onto bus cart, & take them to dish pit; follow dish pit etiquette.
  • Promptly clean up spills or broken dishes; remove & dispose of empty bottles and trash per hotel standards.
  • Serve water & soft drinks; retrieve plate ware & silverware for guests prior to food arriving.
  • Perform additional customer service to guests; field guest inquiries or tend to guest needs directly.
  • Maintain adequate stock of supplies – such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, disposable cups, to-go boxes, straws, napkins, etc.
  • Assist Bartender(s) in restocking bar beverages, ice, etc; assist servers in restocking / refilling water carafes, ice chests, etc.
  • Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers.
  • Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.

  • Maintain regular attendance, arrive on time consistently, and observe scheduled work hours & prescribed break / meal periods, in compliance with standards.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including dress code compliance.
