Job Summary
Working independently, exercising good judgment and discretion in executing and developing the Academic Success Programs within Club Sports. Supervising study hall students below a 2.5 GPA.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Academic Enhancement of Club Sports student-athletes.
Directly supervise Study Hall daily.
Challenge student-athletes to achieve academic goals.
Provide and facilitate a healthy and effective study space for student-athletes.
Work as part of Club Sports team and individual.
Work to enhance the Club Sports programs and uphold the mission and values of Club Sports.
Work under the direction of the ASHA.
Work in study hall setting.
Must have a flexible attitude and work ethic to work as a team and individual.

- Remains abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services, and leading industry performance benchmarks.
- Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.

Qualifications and Credentials
Education and Experience
Four-year college degree, with a concentration in Business Development or Education, 1 + years in an office environment functioning with 1+ of those years in a management capacity. Strong experience required in academic development with knowledge of a variety of sports teams’ functional requirements. Well-developed communication skills both verbally and written.

Physical and Sensory Abilities
Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform deskwork or type on a keyboard.

Occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb stairs to move about the building.
Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel, or stoop to conduct business.
Regularly lift 10 or fewer pounds.

Work Environment
The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled office setting. It is well lit and the noise level is moderate.
Driving Requirement
If the employee is required to travel in performing the duties and responsibilities of the position, the use of one’s personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) may be required for travel. Proof of a valid driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance is required when driving in the performance of the employee’s position.

Compensation is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, along with University needs and external market conditions. Market benchmarks may be used, as appropriate, in combination with internal equity to ensure pay is fair and aligned with the broader compensation structure.
The position may also be eligible for comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and tuition assistance.
$12.77 - $17.00
