Job Purpose:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) serves as the primary interface between Tech Data, Cisco, channel partners, and end customers. The BDM is responsible for driving business growth and executing Cisco’s go-to-market strategies in Cisco security & Laos Cambodia market.
This role includes full ownership of the sales cycle with a focus on maximizing revenue, gross profit, and customer satisfaction. The BDM will work closely with Cisco representatives and partners to deliver high-quality value-added services and build strong business relationships.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement specific business development strategies and initiatives for Cisco focus security target
Engage and manage channel partners to expand market reach in Cambodia & Laos country.
Drive sales programs and campaigns through the distribution ecosystem.
Manage daily operations such as order processing, credit control, and AR collection.
Maintain strong pipeline management, forecasting, and inventory planning.
Collaborate with marketing teams to execute lead generation and brand awareness campaigns.
Stay aligned with Tech Data's priorities, programs, and evolving technologies.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT distribution, preferably with Cisco or equivalent networking/security/data center solution vendors.
Good at English and communication skill
Strong understanding of channel sales models and partner engagement.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Team player with a strong customer-focused mindset.
Capable of building and maintaining solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with Cisco solutions including networking, security, collaboration, and/or data center is a strong advantage.
Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and results orientation.
Ability to multitask, work independently, and perform under pressure.
