We are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Representative to support accounts payable operations through troubleshooting, issue resolution, and collaboration with AP Managers and processing teams in a high-volume, multinational shared services environment.

You will partner with a broad network of internal and external stakeholders, including Vendors, Clinical Operations, Warehouses, Distribution Centers, Product Management, Accounting, Rebate Teams, Compliance, and Audit. The role focuses on resolving transactional issues, improving process reliability, and supporting operational efficiency.

What you will do:

Troubleshooting & issue resolution:

  • Support troubleshooting activities within Mosaic and related AP systems, resolving transactional and system-related issues
  • Investigate and resolve exceptions, including invoice discrepancies, GR/IR imbalances, payment failures, and vendor disputes
  • Support escalations from AP processing teams and business stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Perform detailed analysis of issues to identify root causes and recurring patterns

Operational support:

  • Partner with AP Managers and processing teams to improve issue resolution and operational flow
  • Act as a key point of contact for complex queries from internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Support reconciliation activities, including supplier statements and unallocated payments, as part of issue resolution

Process improvement support:

  • Contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) and support implementation of corrective actions
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to enhance process efficiency and accuracy
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and standardization efforts within AP operations

Compliance & controls:

  • Ensure activities are aligned with corporate policies, internal controls, and SOX requirements
  • Support audit activities, including preparation of documentation and responding to auditor requests

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience in a shared services or multinational environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Good understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting fundamentals
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and e-invoicing platforms (e.g., Mosaic)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve transactional issues
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups)
  • High attention to detail and ability to work with complex data and processes
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with global stakeholders
