As a [Supply Quality Engineer]at Terex/Genie, based in [Changzhou], you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of core components (e.g. Fabrications, electronics, powertrain) from our key suppliers, directly supporting our vehicle production launch and mass production stability.

What you’ll do
1. Handle complaints regarding the quality of materials supplied by suppliers, including those from factories and clients.
2. Initiate 8D improvement requests for major issues and be responsible for tracking and reporting the improvement and implementation results. In necessary cases, conduct on-site audits and inspections.
3. Maintain the inspection plan for incoming goods (random inspection/omitted inspection/full inspection/Quality Alert). Develop inspection specifications for new materials.
4. Monitor the quality data of supplier materials, identify potential quality risks through PPM data analysis, and require suppliers to take preventive measures.
5. Conduct monthly statistical scoring of the quality status of existing suppliers.
6. Make quality claims based on supplier issues.
7. Work with suppliers to formulate annual quality plans, conduct regular quality audits of suppliers, including raw material procurement, production process, and product inspection, etc. (prevention)
8. Develop new products (technical review, sample verification, process review, product delivery, continuous improvement)
9. Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

What you’ll bring
1. Bachelor's degree or above in a related mechanical engineering field.
2. At least 3-5 years of working experience in quality management of manufacturing industry suppliers.
3. Professional knowledge:
- Proficiently understand the requirements of quality management system standards (such as ISO 9001, ISO 16949) and hold an internal auditor qualification certificate. Be able to independently conduct audits of new supplier quality systems.
- Familiar with the product characteristics, processing techniques, and relevant standards (GB/GES/GEP/ISO) of the supplied materials.
- Master the five quality tools (MSA, FEMA, SPC, APQP, PPAP).
- Master problem-solving tools (8D, PSR, etc.).
- Master the use of basic inspection tools and equipment.
- Familiar with the operation of M.S office. Basic English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
4. Audit and evaluation ability: Be able to conduct audits and evaluations of suppliers based on new suppliers, new processes, or new materials, including system audits, process audits, and product audits, etc.
5. Problem-solving ability: Have strong problem-solving skills, be able to quickly and effectively handle supplier quality issues. Be able to use quality tools and methods, analyze the root cause of the problem, formulate feasible solutions, and track and verify the implementation effect of the solutions.
6. Communication and coordination ability: Have good communication skills, be able to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments. Be able to clearly express one's own views and requirements, listen to the opinions and suggestions of the other party, and coordinate to solve quality issues and disputes.
7. Project management ability: In new supplier development and new product introduction projects, possess certain project management ability. Be able to formulate project plans, coordinate various resources, and ensure the project is completed on time.
