NVIDIA is a world-leader in artificial intelligence, computer vision, and accelerated computing. Our technology is a driving force in the advancement of visual AI from data centers to cars, robots, smart buildings, medical devices, and more. As models grow in capability, data scale, and generality, developers are faced with difficult and expensive challenges from preparing hundreds of petabytes of data to validation of open world behaviors. Our team is building the accelerated software ecosystem to help developers through these barriers and to enable the next wave of advances in computer vision, multi-modal models, and GenAI.
We are now looking for a senior manager to own our developer enabling microservices and Helm charts. Products include semantic video search, 3d reconstruction, and more. The right candidate will bring domain expertise in 3d reconstruction and/or vision language models, developer focus, and strong product execution skills. Looking to make computer vision ubiquitous, save the world billions of dollars and drive data center efficiency? This could be a phenomenal opportunity!
What you'll be doing:
Owning the development of our video retrieval, neural reconstruction, and other services to help AI developers build more effective models and products quicker. These services will run on hundreds or thousands of GPUs and must be performant, scalable, and high quality. Ownership includes technical roadmap, technical architecture, engineering schedules, execution, and compliance with software lifecycle guidelines.
Partnering with NVIDIA researchers and other product teams to bring our latest inventions to market and drive developer value.
Engaging with key customers and field teams to invent and improve computer vision services that help reduce time to market, enhance user experiences, and increase efficiency.
Establishing and defining key performance metrics to capture product value and guide continuous improvement of our performance, accuracy, and functionality.
What we need to see:
MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or related area (or equivalent experience).
8+ overall years total engineering experience including direct responsibility for production computer vision or AI services.
4+ years of management experience.
Practical experience developing emerging technologies such as vision language models, large multimodal models, generative AI, gaussian splatting, and NERFs
Proficiency in Python and C++ with strong, performance focused, software engineering sensibility.
Strong people management fundamentals including career development, hiring, and inspirational leadership.
Pragmatic and data-driven project management skills to navigate software development lifecycle requirements, product release schedules, and evolving product requirements.
Strong collaboration and influencing skills to successfully navigate a highly matrixed and dynamic environment.
Positive vision and passion for empowering developers with the best possible tools and technology.
Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:
Innovative leadership, resulting in first-of-kind products, patents, process improvements, business efficiency, and publications.
System software optimization experience including CUDA development
Startup experience, zero to one.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
