Integration Analyst

  • Work closely with other Business Systems Analysts, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Support, Tax Research, Customers and Prospects
  • Review and analyze existing integrations and business processes and develop approaches for improving or further leveraging these systems.
  • Provide deep SAP domain know-how and act as an SAP expert at Thomson Reuters for transaction tax solutions and coordinate with other functional areas within the ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Global Application Suite to ensure a full end-to-end Integration solution.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Integration Analyst, you will be responsible to:

  • Perform detailed analysis of business integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, and FI) feasibility and integration support.
  • Perform SAP application configuration settings and options (MM, SD, and FI).
  • Support product rollouts and implementations as domain expert and/or primary business interface to other parties.
  • Follow product into the field to ensure customer success, providing business and data integration expertise to customers, partners and internal professional services personnel as needed.
  • Assist in providing 2nd level support and training to Customer Support, Professional Services, and integration partners.
  • Analyzes customer problems of high complexity,Assesses scope of impact
  • Mitigates customer impact of issues and defines, reviews, and executes work arounds
  • Identifies options for problem resolution and initiates action engages others as appropriate and escalates as required.
  • Provides advice or training to users about the application systems' functionality, correct operation or constraints, and corrects user faults
  • Provides input for technical plans and solutions.
  • Provides technical guidance to less experience analysts

About You

You’re a fit for the role if your background includes:

  • Bachelors in Business Administration or Computer Science or equivalent work experience; Formal education in accounting/finance is desired.
  • Familiarity with standard SAP accounting and G/L functionality in ECC, S/4HANA or S/4HANA Cloud a requirement
  • Strong FI background a must, with experience in at least one of SD or MM.
  • A 5 years of experience combining analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of large scale SAP implementations.
  • Full implementation life cycles either as BSA or consultant, preferably including International/VAT deployments.
  • Proficiency in SAP condition technique, pricing, and IMG configuration required.
  • Strong analytical and design skills.
  • Extensive, hands-on application configuration and design experience.
  • Previous work with SAP tax interface is highly desired.
  • Previous work experience within a software company a plus
  • SAP  and/or other ERP system experience is a plus.
  • Background in accounting fundamentals is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret ABAP code and work with database tools (such as DbVisualizer) a strong plus.
  • Understanding/experience with Indirect Tax/VAT a plus
  • Previous experience or knowledge of working with ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Determination/ Sabrix is a plus
  • Previous work with US Sales and Use tax is a plus
