Job Description:

Operating since 1987, Johnson Brothers of Indiana is one of the state’s largest distributors. The company began its operation in Michigan City and Fort Wayne as Indiana Wholesale Wine & Liquor. Today, our more than 200 team members provide our portfolio of world-class wines and spirits to retail stores, iconic restaurants, and world-class hotels throughout the Hoosier state.

Our Warehouse Night Lead is responsible for planning work assignments and properly filling orders for customer’s accounts, ensuring that all items ordered are received.

​** All night shifts are generally Monday - Thursday 6:00 p.m. to about 4:30 a.m., with Friday's off.

Lead Duties:

• Load planning and cubing of orders

• Organize delivery paperwork.

• Productivity tracking and data entry

• Organizing work assignments

• Cover manager absence when needed

Other Duties:

• Issue, receive, pick and transfer product to maintain accurate inventory.

• Maintain set work standards for picking orders.

• Safely operate and utilize manual and power equipment.

• Loading and unloading of product in an efficient and safe manner.

• Check product and packaging for quality purposes prior to shipping.

• Reviews orders for shipment to ensure accuracy.

• Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old

• Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Ability to work independently, be self managed and motivated to meet deadlines

• Ability to pass the pre-employment screening: background check, drug test, and physical

• Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen; a criminal background check and a post-offer physical (if applicable).
