Role location: Hybrid (three days in-office, two days virtual)
About the Role
You will lead end-to-end delivery and operational excellence for critical technology programs and application support services. This role combines people leadership, service delivery, and strategic planning to ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of production environments. You will partner with cross-functional teams to manage risk, improve processes, and meet service commitments. Success is measured through service stability, team capability growth, and continuous operational improvement.
What You Will Be Doing:
Lead and develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
Oversee 24/7 operations ensuring application availability, stability, and service continuity
Drive incident, problem, and change management processes to minimize service disruption
Manage escalations and stakeholder communications for critical production issues
Deliver service levels aligned to SLAs, KPIs, and business expectations
Plan and allocate resources effectively to balance workloads and optimize utilization
Establish and improve operational policies, standards, and governance frameworks
Lead disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity readiness
Manage budgets, control operational costs, and identify efficiency opportunities
Collaborate with technology leadership to define and execute strategic operational initiatives
What you will need:
Proven experience leading IT operations, service delivery, or infrastructure teams
Strong expertise in managing production environments with high availability requirements
Demonstrated capability in incident, problem, and change management practices
Experience leading distributed teams and driving performance outcomes
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive audiences
Knowledge of risk management, operational controls, and continuity planning
Ability to align operational execution with strategic goals and business priorities
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in technology or a related field
Experience in financial services or fintech environments
Familiarity with application lifecycle management and software development practices
Knowledge of infrastructure domains such as networks, systems, and cloud technologies
Experience with service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
Financial management skills including budgeting and cost optimization
Strong analytical and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments
