About This Role: Act as a Legal Affairs Specialist in the area of Standards & Governance, ensuring the correct governance of contracts, litigation, statutory obligations, data privacy and internal policies, in alignment with the company's global guidelines, local legislation and best market practices. The position acts as a link between internal areas, especially the Commercial Legal, Finance, Compliance, IT and global structures departments, as well as external offices.
What you'll do:
Operational & Business Support
Monitor and interpret laws and regulations applicable to the business.
Support internal policy interpretation and review of sensitive communications.
Review materials and SOPs, including support for on-site training.
Support administrative defenses related to infraction notices and subpoenas involving areas such as Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Finance and Facilities.
Litigation & Contingency
Act as a focal point for civil claims, including organization of documentation, witnesses, and hearings.
Update internal litigation status reports, coordinating information collection with external offices.
Manage judicial and administrative notifications (subpoenas, official letters and subpoenas), ensuring the correct flow of documents and alignment with internal and Legal areas.
Request and consolidate quarterly contingency reports with law firms, supporting Finance in the P&L accrual processes.
Support the assessment of contingencies and recommendations for provisions, on an informative basis.
Contract Governance & Commercial Agreements
Provide advice on contractual governance strategies, ensuring that interactions with third parties follow corporate standards, compliance and best market practices.
Review trade discount agreements and identify red flags in transactions with new suppliers and external stakeholders.
Review, draft, and negotiate contracts that are not under the management of Commercial Legal, including service contracts, sponsorships, NDAs, and amendments, in multiple areas of the business.
Develop, update and manage contractual templates and standard clauses, in alignment with Legal and Compliance.
Manage contractual remedies and monitor contract indicators (volume, values, status, areas and compliance).
Act in interface with Finance and IT to ensure the proper use of contractual terms and conditions.
Conduct training on negotiation, contract execution and onboarding of internal stakeholders.
Corporate Governance & Statutory Obligations
Support the management and continuous updating of internal policies, SOPs and governance annexes.
Act as PMO in support of demands from authorities and court officials, coordinating the obtaining of documents with internal areas.
Support Legal & Compliance in technical research for the issuance of internal opinions.
Manage the Power of Attorney cycle, including review, issuance, governance and interface with CitCo.
Prepare and control corporate and statutory documents, ensuring correct filing and alignment with global paralegals.
Data Privacy & LGPD
Implement and maintain data privacy governance, evaluating projects and new initiatives from a data protection perspective.
Act as Privacy Focal Point in Brazil, ensuring compliance with LGPD and global guidelines.
Escalate critical issues to the LATAM Privacy Officer.
Support risk assessments, controls, and privacy awareness initiatives.
Who You Are: You are a highly organized Legal professional with a strong background in governance, contracts, litigation support, and data privacy. You bring a sharp analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to translate regulations into practical guidance. You communicate clearly, manage multiple stakeholders with ease, and thrive in dynamic, cross‑functional environments. With strong technical rigor and a global mindset, you ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and help the business operate with clarity, structure, and integrity.
Required Skills:
Degree in Law
Previous experience in governance, contracts, litigation and/or regulated environment (desirable pharmaceutical or healthcare sector).
Experience with administrative law and public law topics.
Solid knowledge in LGPD and data governance.
Experience in interacting with external offices and global structures.
Advanced English.
Strong analytical skills, organization, communication and management of multiple interfaces.
