You help execute the revenue management workstream to help us optimize the return on investment on our trade spend activities.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Work with customer teams to track progress towards revenue KPIs

  • Complete promotional post evaluations in partnership with Finance and Marketing

  • Support the Customer Planning Manager by providing regular reporting including volume tracking, trade spend, % promoted, seasonal in flight tracking

  • Monitor revenue realization of any cost price increases

  • Work with customer teams and Sales Finance to ensure all trade spend in the system is accruing correctly

  • Attend customer forecast surgeries to understand customer dynamics and identify opportunities and risks to the plan

  • Approve promotional activity in line with guidelines with regular reviews of promotional spend

Within this role you will be part of the new and growing Benelux RGM team and responsible for Pricing and Mix.  You will work in strong partnership with our Finance, Marketing and Category Development teams to maximize revenue potential and bottom-line impact by leveraging consumer and shopper insights developing profitable revenue growth strategies across all our categories, brands, and customers.

Core Responsibilities are:

  • Leads the RGM-lever Smart Pricing including Mix and builds capability within local commercial teams in Benelux, including training, sharing best practices and procedures related to processes and tools.
  • Creates smart pricing & mix strategies for Benelux and monitors their implementation.
  • Identifies specific RGM pricing options in close collaboration with finance, marketing, category development, and sales departments.
  • Collaborates with MEU RGM / the central sales team to ensure proper implementation of RGM pricing and mix projects at the local level.
  • Determines recommended consumer prices for the core assortment, seasonal assortment, and innovation assortment in close collaboration with finance, marketing, and category development departments.
  • Manages the pricing process in close collaboration with the sales operations expert, finance, and sales to ensure excellent implementation.
  • Supports the annual planning / annual contract and strategic plan process by developing pricing & mix growth plans for the coming years.
  • Uses data-driven insights to make informed decisions, measure performance, and regularly provide reports on revenue growth initiatives.
  • Analyzes price elasticity and shares insights with BP&P (Business Planning & Performance) and DP (Demand Planning) for accurate forecasting.
