Standard Duties and Responsibilities:
- Configure, customize, script and develop the ServiceNow platform
- Develop Service Catalog items
- Integrate data from multiple data sources
- Provide technical and thought leadership in both system integration and application development, while also promoting best practices in these areas
- Review internal artifacts and deliverables to ensure they meet solution requirements
- Create applications and add features to the ServiceNow Service Portals
- Prepare and maintain technical specifications and documents; architectural diagrams, system documentation and manuals
- Troubleshoot production and test issues; perform root cause analysis, recommend corrective action and perform resolution efforts
- Assist ITSM team members with associated technical and process activities
- Provide expertise on all technical questions related to development in ServiceNow
- Develop the technical solutions, implement them and perform the component integration tests
- Understand business needs and the need to standardize process and build this into the design
- Other duties may be assigned
Required Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience
- Someone who is dedicated to growing along with Allegion
- ServiceNow admin certification is required
- Proven track record of working successfully within a global team that is distributed geographically
- Knowledge of Web Technologies such as XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, and Web Services integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, and OAuth)
- Ability to work independently and without significant oversight
- Experienced in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including client requirement analysis and system design
- Experienced in the administration of a ServiceNow instance including the delegation of groups, modification of Service Portal, flows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, dictionary, catalog items and updates of all other existing solutions requiring revisions
- Strong communication skills (active listener, think before acting) and excellent English skills both in writing and in verbal communication
- High level of motivation and commitment
- Able to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals and realize value
Additional Preferred Education/Experience Qualifications:
- ServiceNow System Admin certification is strongly preferred
- ITIL v3 or v4 foundations certification is strongly preferred
- Experience implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experienced in designing and implementing IT and non-IT related process workflows, procedures and technical standards
