The HRIS Analyst will play a critical role in this vision by supporting various functional areas within Workday HCM. They will lead complex projects and enhancements to existing technology including design, planning, problem solving, testing and implementation across the organization. The candidate selected will be responsible for the deployment of new technology and will act as a change agent on these implementations. 

This role is part of a global HRIS team that supports Workday. In addition to HR systems, this team supports HR leaders in 160 locations around the world.  This hands-on technical role is located at our Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis, MO. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): 

  • Responsible for designing, implementing, documenting, continuously improving as well as testing Workday processes and procedures
  • Collate and manage a list of change / enhancement requests and ensure the delivered technology solution meets the needs of the business
  • Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of our Global People System
  • Support People Team initiatives and proactively apprise them of relevant implications of organizational changes such as how the acquisition of new divisions will influence business processes and daily activities, reporting tools and data structures
  • Work closely with our Global Information Governance Leader to ensure the technical solutions remain compliant and meets local data processing laws
  • Ability to own and drive HR Technology related projects comprising internal and external team members
  • Manage the project life cycle of global projects from initiation to delivery and post implementation support
  • Actively participate in Workday Community to understand new functionality and best practice solutions

  • Ability to write and prepare reports as needed
  • Understands the dynamics of human negotiation among conflicting interest groups and how to achieve mutual agreements
  • Makes well-informed, effective, and timely decisions, even when data is limited

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in Workday HCM (previous experience required), experience with Compensation, Recruiting, or Talent modules a plus
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel & MS PowerPoint (creating graphics, charts)
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Committed to follow and enhance standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to problem solve and drive solutions to complex requirements
  • Experience Managing and Supporting a complex HRIS environment (Workday)
  • Experience working within a complex multinational matrix organization is a plus

Individual contributor with no direct reports

Work Environment:

This is an office position.

Position Type:

This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular workweek will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs.

Less than 25%
