  • Case creation and resolution for compute engine-related issues
  • Support migration of instances and containers to Google Cloud
  • Provide solutions involving GCE Instances, Machine Images, Managed Instance Groups (MIG), IAM Roles, SSH, Quotas, and Autoscaling         
  • Apply best practices in managing instances in Google Cloud

Experience and Technical Skills

  • Experience working with any public cloud (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) services and infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of GCE protocols and concepts, including troubleshooting of Linux and Windows VMs.
  • Hands on experience with any public cloud IaaS and cloud storage solutions
  • Knowledge of basic web technologies and networking fundamentals
  • Familiarity with Terraform and the Linux command line, web servers, and text editors.
  • Experience reading or debugging code (Java, C, C++, .NET, Python, Shell, Perl, JavaScript)
  • Ability to manage others and work as part of a team, managing critical tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and present findings to management.
  • Amenable for a full RTO and flexible working schedule

 

Educational Background

  • At least Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or other relevant fields
