Job Description:

This pharmacist will staff our St Louis Children's at CoxHealth Joint Venture Pharmacy in our hospital-within-a-hospital (HwH) model. Staff pharmacists process/verify orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.Education: ▪ Required: Bachelors in Pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy ▪ Preferred: Doctorate of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency Experience: ▪ Required: No Prior Experience Required ▪ Preferred: 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training Skills: ▪ None specified Licensure/Certification/Registration: ▪ Required: Registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist ▪ **Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire** ▪ Medication Therapy Services Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
