Job Description:
This job is responsible for leading the reduction of cyber crime risk to customers and clients through innovation, identification, and disruption to protect the bank's digital brand and deliver targeted education and awareness. Key responsibilities include making cyber crime harder and less profitable​, driving industry and government collaboration, and increasing resiliency to cyber crimes in clients and customers.

Position Summary

Individual Contributor dedicated to best-in-class efforts to engage external cyber security issues or threats. Responsibilities include standing up programs and the required playbooks and documentation. Demonstrated capability to: remediate external threats, navigate Terms of Service, manage cyber security toolsets, vendors and new tool, capability and program development. Oversees personalized engagement support to impacted entities within the larger response effort. Coordinates responses with applicable legal teams. Prepares detailed case synopsis recording all operational activities. Fulfills an on-call requirement for response to after-hours cyber security events. Ability to build and maintain relationships with external service providers to achieve mutually beneficial cyber security responses.  

Expected to oversee programs and operations that leverage best-in-class investigations and external engagements that reduce risk to the firm, the firm's interests or customers. Individual Contributor leader is expected to develop and lead programs that apply existing risk frameworks and resources to meet mission requirements. Overseeing operational processes, vendors, and multiple toolsets to achieve desired end state is required. Succinct communications, responsible stewardship and program management is expected.   

Qualifications:

  • External threat engagement and external firm Terms of Service navigation and application experience
  • Program initiation, documentation and execution experience
  • A broad knowledge of computer networking, log analysis, information security principles, and adversarial tools and techniques
  • Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking
  • Able to identify, analyze and address cyber security issues or threats, including emerging tactics or techniques
  • Confident and capable written and oral presentation skills
  • Must be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding
  • Must have strong leadership skills and qualities which enable you to work with peers and various levels of management
  • Demonstrated vendor management skills
  • Technology oversight required and experience with Phantom and Instinct a benefit 

Desired  :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Experience in the remediation of Information Security risks/vulnerabilities
  • Experience with Phone Carriers engagement and communication to mitigate phishing/vishing and Smishing
  • Ability to work with Technical and Non -Technical individuals 
  • Persistent and Logical investigator
