Assistant Store Manager

prAna is looking for an energetic, people-focused Assistant Store Manager to help lead our retail team and bring our brand vision to life. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Store Manager to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive sales, and foster a positive, inclusive store environment.

What You’ll Do

• Support recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing, diverse team
• Lead daily store operations including scheduling, payroll support, reporting, and inventory
• Provide clear coaching and real-time feedback to strengthen team performance
• Take the lead when the Store Manager is away
• Ensure strong visual merchandising and uphold prAna brand standards
• Foster community engagement and represent prAna at select offsite events
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for customers and teammates

What You Bring

• 2–3 years of retail leadership experience (visual merchandising a plus)
• Passion for customer service, sales, and outdoor-inspired lifestyles
• Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
• Comfort with retail technology, POS systems, and performance tools
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel

Physical Requirements

• Frequently in a more active environment (i.e., it requires the ability to constantly move about) that can be physical or strenuous in nature (frequently adjusting/moving items weighing up to 40 lbs.), may frequently use specialized equipment, may have exposure to dust and noise.
• Occasionally it requires the ability to work in place.
• Ability to communicate with others.
• Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, which may change seasonally and in response to location-specific business trends or forecasts. All local, state, and federal laws are adhered to when evaluating your availability.

Hiring Range: $24.45 - $33.61
