Voids and Lettings Officer

Position is a fully remote role

£24,000 - £26,000 per annum

Full time – Permanent - 37.5 hrs per week – Monday to Friday

What the role Involves – Void and Lettings Officer  

  • We are looking for a responsible Voids Officer to join our team to implement the lettings and allocations processes for all Mears Living properties nationwide, delivering positive customer outcomes and satisfaction.  Ensuring that all void properties are made ready for letting on target and on budget. 
  • The successful candidate will have the ability to manage a diverse range of projects at any one time, while ensuring KPI and delivery targets are met.
  • Working alongside the void planners, supervisors and operatives to ensure void works are completed effectively and on time.
  • Monitoring void works, liaising with all relevant departments when required, and maintaining accurate database records of progress.
  • Liaising with customers and dealing with any queries or issues which may arise.
  • 1st point of contact for all internal, external, local authority council, customer and colleague contact regarding voids and properties ready to let.
  • Developing strong working relationship with clients, customers, and communities, managing client expectation, attending meetings
  • Ensuing adherence to health & safety regulations.
  • Employee performance management.

About you

  • Customer Service experience
  • Good Computing Skills and Database Management
  • Proven track record of commercial and operational management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, sites & contracts and client expectations.
  • Team player
  • Ability to work alone.
  • Effective time management
  • Meeting deadlines
  • Accurate quality of data entry

Preferable:

  • Previous experience in housing contract management or similar.
  • Experience of working in social housing and in partnership with a client.
  • Health & safety knowledge, including COSHH.
  • Knowledge of property compliance certificate requirements
