Job Description:

Are you a proactive administrative professional looking to play a key role in a impactful clinical program? Our Behavioral Health Operations team is seeking a versatile Office Specialist to support the Substance Use Recovery Services (SURS) program at the Reception and Treatment Center (RTC).

In this role, you will work under general supervision to provide vital technical and administrative assistance directly to the SURS Director and Clinical Program Manager, as well as team members across various behavioral health projects. If you excel at balancing diverse responsibilities—including managing calendars, tracking data, handling requests for information (ROIs), and ensuring daily office operations run seamlessly—we invite you to apply and help us make a difference in our community!

Additional $3/hour facility differential for hours worked.

DUTIES:

  • Data entry, document scanning, and tracking data

  • Managing lists and calendars

  • Handling ROIs and treatment certificates

  • Provide general clerical/office support for the SURS program


 

Requirements/Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training in administrative/office support functions, procedures, and methods including the operation of personal computers and office equipment; or areas related to the programs and functions of the employing agency OR experience in customer service or public contact; or applying criteria/regulations; and/or performing administrative/office/secretarial support work including use of personal computers and office equipment.

Preferred Qualifications: Minimum two years' experience/training/education in administrative/office /secretarial support functions. Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Other: Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to work under limited supervision. Must have a valid driver’s license. Applicants accepting a job offer must pass the following pre-employment exams in this order: medical exam, and at a randomly announced time, pass a drug test. Once at the Staff Training Academy, must successfully complete the fully paid NE Corrections Training Program.
