In this role, you will be responsible for winning business. You will operate with some autonomy but will typically be subject to standard sales practices and procedures. The role is subject to regular review of sales results. Some judgment may be required, usually with guidance. You may be responsible for medium-sized sales territories.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with large, high‑value named accounts within a defined geographic territory.

  • Develop and execute Key Account Plans aligned with customer objectives and GE HealthCare’s business strategy.

  • Drive account penetration by increasing share of wallet across products, services, parts, solutions, and projects.

  • Own account performance including revenue, margins, volumes, and service levels, identifying growth and upsell opportunities.

  • Build strong understanding of assigned territory, product lines, markets, sales processes, and customer groups to execute sales strategy.

  • Apply commercial judgment and understanding of key business drivers to achieve sales and profitability goals.

  • Act as the primary interface between customers and internal teams, ensuring effective coordination and issue resolution.

  • Build long-term customer relationships by clearly communicating technical and commercial information and addressing customer needs.

  • Operate with autonomy within defined frameworks, consulting senior stakeholders on complex commercial matters.

  • Serve as an individual contributor with strong interpersonal skills, providing informal guidance to newer team members when required.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in medical equipment sales, with imaging experience preferred.

  • Strong experience in Sales and Account Sales functions.

  • Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent relevant experience.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve commercial and customer-related problems.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute sales and account programs effectively.

  • Solid project and account management capabilities.
