Due to ongoing growth, we are inviting applications for an experienced Receptionist/Client Care Team Member to join our team at Wear Referrals Veterinary Specialist.

This is a genuine opportunity for candidates with extensive high-level reception experience gained in a busy and challenging professional environment to join a successful and growing business with scope for career development for the right candidate. A customer service qualification is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a similar high-pressure client care environment, be organised, smart and professional in appearance, detail orientated, committed to excellent customer service and able to commit to a shift-based role. Client Care Team Members are required to wear a corporate uniform and be able to sit and stand for long periods to cover the reception area and the back office, aside from scheduled breaks.

This is a full-time position working 40hrs/week over 5 days, Monday to Sunday, shifts between 7am -10pm.

Wear Referrals (part of Linnaeus Veterinary Limited, owned by Mars) is a multi-disciplinary, specialist veterinary referral hospital in the North East of England, close to the historic university city of Durham, the thriving city of Newcastle, and set between the northeast coast and the Pennines. Our specialist services include neurology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, anaesthesia, oncology, diagnostic imaging and cardiology, a busy primary care out-of-hours emergency service, in-house physiotherapy, and hydrotherapy.
