Salary: £35,627 to £48,827 per annum

Location: London, Greater London House with flexibility to work from home and other office locations as required

Hours: 36 per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Strategy and Policy Advisor to join our Strategy, Policy, Evidence and Research team on a permanent basis.

You’ll support the business to develop strategy and policy in line with the Group frameworks. As part of this, you’ll work closely with the Senior Research Adviser and the Research Adviser to provide advice to support the development of high-quality policy and strategy. You’ll oversee the internal policy library and work with subject area experts to ensure policies are reviewed and updated as required, providing quality control for published documents and monitoring Equality Impact Assessment completeness.

Part of your role will be working across the business to build capability in these areas. You’ll monitor the external environment for changes in legislation, regulation, and national or local policy, assessing external and internal trends so that we can effectively respond to a changing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree or equivalent experience with an understanding of housing legislation, national policy initiatives, current regulation and its effect on housing policy and practice.
