Position Summary
This key position will assist the Operations Manager in overseeing day-to-day technical and plant maintenance of HFC and FTTH plants, head ends, hub sites and other facilities as required.

What You’ll be Doing
- Prioritizing, scheduling and reporting of system maintenance activities to achieve system goals
- Work in a team environment with the Operations Manager to complete critical projects on time
- Perform proof of performance scheduling, testing, reporting, and documentation
- Work directly with Operations Manager to prioritize, plan and deploy system augments
- Monitor all NOC reports, service call sheets and system problem reports, responding as required to maintain network integrity
- Participate in and execute required and random weekly/monthly EAS testing and statewide reporting
- Schedule, provide and recommend technical training for the Broadband Technician team
- Maintain strong safety awareness and practices, provide praise and coaching as necessary
- On-Call as needed.
What You’ll Need
- 3+ years preventative maintenance experience preferred
- Detailed knowledge of industry test equipment
- Ability to work as team lead and independently as required by current priorities
- General PC knowledge: Pertinent applications utilized by the company and other software as needed
- Detail oriented: Exceptional organization and record keeping skills
- Must be self- motivated, have a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn new technologies and equipment
- Excellent customer interaction and communication skills
- SCTE and NCTI completions preferred
